7 Millionth Fan Club

Tonight we went to the College World Series!! We went last Saturday as well and had to stand in line for 2hrs & 40min. We finally got in 40min after the game started then had to stand until the 6th inning!! :-( So tonight we were pleasantly surprised once we entered the gates before the game started to an upgrade seats offer! We were invited into the 7millionth Fan Club! They picked 20 people out of the entire 24,000+ fans. They knew the 7th million fan was to cross the gates tonight but have no way of knowing who exactly it would be, so they picked a few to celebrate!! We were handed our press passes and lead up to our seats!! We entered the private box to snacks and an assortment of drinks, which they replenished many times!! As well as free programs and some small souvenirs. Then we had stadium dogs loaded with toppings, potato slice fries, cookies, brownies, frozen lemonade.... We are stuffed!! Thank you CWS for an unforgettable night!! The boys will no doubt remember this for a long time to come!!

They put our pic on their website, cwsomaha. Look for the "2009 Photo Gallary" then "2009 Game 6" on the front page!!

The boys were playing catch while we were in line...(for 2hrs!!)

Here they are ready for the game to start!

We're ready!!!.

We're Home!!

Just wanted to let you all know we made it home without any other incidents!! Well other than the usual throw up(just a little), poop, rainy drive, traffic from a 5th wheel roll-over accident... So now that I have nothing else to do this week I'm going to start posting pics from our vacation. We really were thrilled that the Lord was gracious in countless ways along our journey and can't wait to share them!!! Until next time we are rejoicing and giving thanks in all these circumstances for we know that this is God's will for us (1 Thes 5:16,18) !!!

Update on car

Well we received a call this afternoon from the dealership saying that the warranty company would only cover the repair and not a new transmission. They will however let us pay the difference and put in a new one. So that's the plan now. We're waiting on them to install the new transmission! Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up on Friday so we can begin the journey home on Saturday!! I miss my hubby!! There's no place like home!

Waiting

Our van started having transmission trouble as we were going through Vegas. It was jerking as it would shift gears. We found a dealer there but it's taking a while to get fixed. We got a hotel in Vegas on Fri night then rented a car on sat to come back to UT as Ben was flying home sun night. Well as it turns out it needs a new trans put in and we had to wait for an inspector from the warranty company to come and approve the problems that Ford found and decide whether to overhaul it or put a complete new one in. They have a new one in stock but if they overhaul they have to order all the parts and they said it 'may be' done by Fri.

The problem is that my mom was going to drive back with me and fly home on Mon morning so the absolute latest we could leave is Sun(drive 13hrs) then mom could be there for her flight at 6am on Mon. We don't want to have to lose the money for her ticket so we're praying they decide on the complete replacement and can get it done by Thurs so I can go back down to Vegas and pick it up. So!! We could use some prayer right now!

The cost difference of the overhaul vs complete replacement is only about $200. If they don't want pay the extra $200 for a complete instead of the overhaul we're hoping they'll allow us to pay the difference and put the complete in. A complete would have a 3yr 100k warranty and an overhaul would have a 12mo 12k warranty so of course a complete would be the best!

Right now we're waiting on the communication between the inspector, warranty company, and Ford... it's not been all that quick! We'll see what the Lord works out and we'll take 'that' as best!! Thanks in advance for praying! And I hope to see you all 'real' soon!!
